Brazil takes care of Egypt in Bob Bradley's first game

Brazil had no problem dispatching an overmatched Egypt side 2-0 on Monday night in Qatar. The match marked new Egypt coach Bob Bradley's first game in charge. Bradley coached the United States from late 2006 until he was fired in July following a loss to Mexico in the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and replaced by Jurgen Klinsmann.

Bradley was hired by Egypt in September to succeed Hassan Shehata, who led Egypt to three straight African Cup of Nations titles but failed to qualify the team for next year's tournament. Bradley was given the task of qualifying the Pharaohs for their first World Cup since 1990. They are in an African second-round group with Comoros, Guinea, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Jonas Oliveira scored both goals for Brazil in the 39th and 59th minutes at Al Rayyan Stadium. Egypt's Ahmed Hassan entered in the 73rd minute, tying former Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Mohammad Al Deayea for the record with 178 international appearances.
