The draw is done for South Africa 2010 and Group G looks to be the Group of Death this tournament as Brazil, Portugal and the Ivory Coast are included. Brazil is once again a favorite to win the World Cup and seeing as a European team has never won a World Cup away from Europe it would make the case even stronger. They'll have to get out of group play first as a difficult opening round awaits.
Ivory Coast is looked to be an African favorite to breakthrough and make a deep run with the talented Didier Drogba and Kolo Toure. While Portugal sports such world stars as Cristiano Ronaldo and Deco. A key to getting out of the Group of Death will be to not slipup and drop any points to North Korea while propping up the ever important goal differential for tie breaker purposes.
Group G -
Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal
