Costa Rica in big hole to Uruguay in World Cup playoff

Uruguay is on there way as they took the first leg of their World Cup playoff at Costa Rica 1-0 Saturday. A 21st minute goal from Diego Lugano gave Uruguay strong hopes of playing in South Africa next year as the two sides head to Uruguay for the return leg Wednesday evening. A 51st minute red card to Costa Rica's Randall Azofeifa killed hopes of a rally by the home side.
