England had no trouble with minnows Andorra Wednesday at Wembley. It was not expected to be much of a match and it wasn't as England notched three goals each half for the 6-0 margin of victory.
Wayne Rooney opened the scoring in the 4th minute followed by first half goals from Frank Lampard and a 2nd from Rooney for a 3-0 halftime lead. Andorra were never able to get into the match only managing two weak shots all night neither of which were on frame.
The 2nd half was much like the first as Jermain Defoe grabbed a pair followed by a late Peter Crouch goal and the match ended 6-0 to England. The win moves England even closer to South Africa 2010 as they are perfect from seven matches thus far and hold a whopping 10 point lead over Croatia. Nobody will catch England and the real fight in Group 6 is for the 2nd place playoff spot between Croatia, Ukraine and Belarus.
